As a model citizen, you can help the State Police Department in preventing serious crimes and help us to solve various current / unsolved cases. Citizens coming forward and helping police will be suitably recognized and rewarded, in appropriate cases. Your email id validation is important for receiving the reward, as and when it was awarded. Please fill the form with care and attention.
We value your effort and at the same time request you to use this facility responsibly for the good of the society. Abusive, vindictive and defamatory information is not welcome and, the informant is liable for prosecution. Your personal information is secure with us, and utmost care will be taken to safeguard your interests.
1.Anonymous information - where in no personal details of the informant / complainant are necessary. The department will ensure that the information is acted upon.
2.Petition / Complaint - where the informant / complainant wants action to be taken against the information, under intimation to him. Feedback / progress will be intimated to the informant, to the e-mail address provided. Kindly quote the Complaint Number in future correspondence to the contact person mentioned.
3. FIR (First Information Report) - Where the complainant wants legal action initiated against any offence reported and wants an FIR copy on the information furnished, he should lodge the information / complaint from the link below for FIR. This information cannot be anonymous / pseudonymous. The jurisdictional police officer will contact the complainant to fulfill certain obligations, as required under law to register an FIR.
4.Complaints against Police - Where the information is against police officers regarding harassment, human rights violations, abusive behaviour, corruption etc, complaints can be lodged with full confidence. We, at Karnataka State Police, assure you that the complaints will be dealt in a fair and transparent manner. The individual lodging the complaint will be personally posted with the outcome of the action taken. This will be dealt at the highest level at the office of the DG&IGP.
