Crimes today *…….
Crimes against women:-
1) One Syed Ahmed R/o Shiralakoppa town allegedly attempted for rape on 17 year old girl. A case in Shiralakoppa police station crime No. 234/08 under section 354 IPC has been registered.
2) One Srinivas assaulted a girl with hands and forced her to marry him. A case in Kumsi police station crime No. 177/08 under section 323, 324, 506 IPC has been registered.
3) One Badri @ Veerabhadra allegedly assaulted his wife and children with bricks and caused blood injuries. A case in Bhadravathi Rural police station crime No. 225/08 under section 323, 302 IPC has been registered.
Assault
1) One Gun raja and 3 others of Avinahalli, Sagar taluk assaulted Nagaraja with clubs and caused injuries. A case in Sagar Rural police station crime No. 364/08 under section, 323, 324, 504 read with 34 IPC has been registered.
2) There was a quarrel between Lokaraj Jain and Somaiah Jain of Chipligudde, Kargal. Case and Counter case in Kargal police station has been registered.
Unnatural death/suicides:-
1) 20 year old girl consumed poison, as she was suffering from acute stomache and later died. A UDR case in Hosanagar police station crime No. 26/08 under section 174 Cr.PC has been registered.
Accident:-
1) Motorcycle rider of KA 14 V 3173 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and hit against Kuppaiah, HC 1962 and caused injuries. A case in Shimoga Rural police station crime No. 317/08 under section 279, 337 IPC has been registered.
